Spicy Glazed Salmon

It's been a while since I've made a "blog-worthy" new recipe and this one is so freaking good, I've made it twice in the past 4 days, haha! So, yeah - it needs to be on here, so I can save it for posterity!

If you've been following my social media - you guys know I embarked on a whole new program which includes completely re-vamping my nutrition! No - I didn't do anything crazy like go Paleo or keto or something else that makes my brain hurt, just thinking about - but instead its all about timing your meals to maximize nutrient absorption, power through a workout, and boost metabolism.

Not gonna lie - I almost didn't even do this program because I was scared to death of the nutrition plan - but after 17 days on this plan, I have to say it is the best thing I've ever done for myself!

Day 0, Day 6, Day 13

The best thing about this plan, is the zero guesswork - every meal is planned and there's no questioning what or when to eat. And seriously - I eat sooo much food every day!

This salmon recipe is amazing fresh and also for meal prep - all though, I get yucked out with leftovers, so I would make sure to eat it all within 2 days!

Spicy Glazed Salmon

1 pound fresh or defrosted salmon
3 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1-2 tablespoons Siracha
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt + pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

1. Cut salmon into single portions (4 oz. each)
2. Sprinkle with salt + pepper
3. Bake for 10 minutes
4. While salmon bakes, whisk together remaining ingredients
5. After 10 minutes, brush top of salmon pieces with glaze and bake an additional 5 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and brush remaining glaze on cooked salmon + let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Seriously - so, so, so good and done in less than 20 minutes - that's always a winner in my books!
