Korean Beef Noodle Bowl

Who doesn't want an easy, tasty recipe the whole family will gobble up? You may have seen this recipe making the rounds on Pinterest and I'm here to tell you to make it! My kids ask for it and it literally takes less than 15 minutes to pull together.

Korean Noodle Bowl

1 package brown rice noodles
1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
1/4 cup brown sugar (you can cut this down to 2 tablespoons)
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil

Garnish with:
Green onions
Sesame seeds
Siracha (of course!)


1. Heat vegetable or coconut oil in large skillet and brown the ground beef.
2. While ground beef is cooking - boil water and cook rice noodles according to package directions.
3. Add sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil to skillet and mix well.
4. Simmer 2-3 minutes until sauce and ground beef are combined well.
5. Serve beef mixture over cooked rice noodles and serve immediately.
