This week's CSA Delivery was full of organic, yummy goodness including this pink watermelon. Ev declared it "the best watermelon ever!", but then again he rarely meets a watermelon he doesn't like. Since it was organic, it did have seeds, but a few seeds never hurt anyone and it was soooo sweet and juicy. Special items like this make me so thankful I belong to a local CSA. You won't find these at the grocery store!
Keeping the meals simple this week and sticking to my tried and true recipes during the week. I came upon these Buffalo Chicken Tacos on Pinterest and thought we would give them a try. The hub is a Buffalo wing fanatic, so I thought this look liked a healthier alternative for a little football watching today.
Sunday: Buffalo Chicken Tacos (bowls for me, tacos for the men)
Monday: Italian Pork Chops, Mediterranean Quinoa Salad
Tuesday: Salsa Verde Turkey Burgers, salad, the Best Oven "Fries"
Wednesday: Homemade Hamburger Helper, steamed broccoli
Thursday: Crockpot White Bean Sausage and Kale Soup, grilled cheese
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday: Dinner Out!
