Homemade Smartfood

Popcorn! Organic, air-popped, crunchy, whole grain, with a tasty cheesy flavor. What more can you ask for in a healthy snack? Perfect for movie nights, lunches, or general snacking. We make this at least once a week in our house and it doesn't last long. Sooo yummy, the whole family loves it and the fresh popped flavor beats the packaged stuff every time!
 


 
What you need:




 
Homemade Smartfood
 
1/3 cup unpopped organic popcorn kernels
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon cheddar cheese powder
 
1. Pour kernels into air-popper as per directions (mine takes approximately 1/3 cup per pop)
2. Melt butter in microwave or butter melter of air-popper
3. Once all kernels are popped, drizzle with melted butter and toss well to combine. The butter will allow the cheese powder to stick to the popcorn.
4. Add cheese powder and toss again. Serve immediately or store in air-tight container up to 3 days.
